Interesting compilation of demos and alternates over a wide range of time. There is no theme or effort to make this cohesive at all but there are some good tracks here and some surprises in the mixture. Loving Cup, Potted Shrimp, Shake Your Hips and Still A Fool are quite good on disc one. Disc 2 includes a live Little Red Rooster, a version of So Young with perhaps the most blistering guitar lead ever recorded by the Stones in the studio and a nice diversion of Somewhere Over The Rainbow and The Nearness Of You which is basically piano and vocal with sax added on Rainbow. I think Keith does the vocals on these and I assume Bobby Keys plays the sax. These are stripped down and quite surprising to hear on a Stones comp but here they are. Overall, some interesting stuff here with mostly good sound.
