Bilko dates this rehearsal 08/14/1970, which is not possible as Elvis’
engagement at the International had already begun by the 14th (Elvis
performed a dinner show and a midnight show that night. Keith Flynn’s
Elvis website provides an image from a studio tape box dated 08/10/1970
(a much more reliable source of info than a bootleg label). The tape
box has written “Inc – Late Start” after each song title, which explains
why each song on the CD has its beginning missing. When RCA/BMG/FTD
released this recording in 2011 as “Stage Rehearsal,” it edited live
recordings of these songs onto the incomplete, audience-less rehearsal
takes – a decision less historically accurate but more palatable to the
listening ear.

Track 14 is an excerpt from the 08/14/1970 Midnight Show.

Track 15 is from a rehearsal, date unknown (early 70s).
