First – this was not a real band. It was a group of musicians put together for a short tour to support Wood’s solo album at the time. The group only played 20 shows in 1979 and that was it. It is also obvious why Wood was not a lead singer in any of the bands he played in. The music is a mixed bag of songs from Ronnie, a few from the Stones and a few others. The band gets a good groove on some but others don’t heat up. This is an oddity and worth a listen but the vocals detract from any replay value for me. The sound quality is fine.
