Good sound on these 2 shows. Mike was always one of my personal favorite guitar players so any live recordings of him playing electric are welcome. Backed by a horn band and with Nick Gravenitis on vocals, this is some good music and Bloomfield shines on most of the tracks. It’s a bit unfortunate that the 2 shows here from 2/1/69 and 2/2/69 have the same tracks so we don’t get some variety on disc 2 but the songs are good and hey, it’s electric Bloomfield. It’s also odd that both shows have 2 versions of Born In Chicago which adds up to 4 versions of that song across the 2 nights. Not sure why that happened but apparently it did. If you like Mike Bloomfield, get this.
