This has the best sound quality of this group in existence. Jeff is on fire, and we get to hear Jeff sing more than any other live show I know of (not that that is neccessarily a good thing). “The Sun is Shining” is worth the price of admission alone. Also, Let Me Love You has a great swing to it, and Jeff’s Les Paul tone is awesome.

Early tracks from the Jeff Beck Band which included Rod Stewart. There aren’t many recordings of this group with excellent sound which makes this essential for any fan. This is a collection from several days performing at the Fillmore West in late July 1968. I’m curious why there are only 5 tracks available but we get what we get and these are really good tracks here. 54 years later, Beck is still performing and pushing the boundaries of the instrument.
